    Callaghan Creek Festival and Race

In an effort to raise awareness of the plight of BC's amazing whitewater streams and an attempt to save the super-classic Callaghan Creek, we are putting on the first annual Callaghan Creek Festival and Race on July 24th. Come join us for tons of fun on Callaghan and surrounding creeks this summer. If you can't make it, you can still help out the cause by going to our website and donating - all proceeds go to American Whitewater and the BC Creeks Protection Society to help fight run of river hydro development in BC. Please use the link below to read more about our cause and the event that we're putting on:

    Yoga for Shoulders DVD

Shooting has begun for our much awaited "Yoga for Shoulders" DVD, due out this fall. We have already completed shoots on the Blue Ridge Parkway and in the desert near Moab, Utah. Follow Yoga Ventures on Facebook to see photos from our shoots as they happen, and to stay up to date on when the video will be available.

Trip Reports and photos from our summer tour.

Our summer tour is off and running! We've already put up reports from Cheat Fest, our time paddling in the Midwest, and a brief sojourn in beautiful New Mexico. You can read those reports by visiting our FORUM, and there are a lot more photos available if you become our friend on facebook.

    River Gypsies' Navigation Waypoints

By now you probably know about our new guidebook, The River Gypsies' Guide to North America. What you may not have seen yet is the really cool downloadable set of Navigation System Waypoints for your GPS, with all of the put-ins, take-outs, campsites, and more from the guidebook. Trust us, this will save you some time on your road trip, or even navigating in your home area.

New River Gypsies' Guides in the works!

We are hard at work putting together more guidebooks to help you find and enjoy rivers. In the Southeast, Kirk Eddlemon is joining forces with us for our new guide to Tennessee and Alabama. In the Northwest, we've teamed with Thomas O'Keefe to get his vast river knowledge recorded in our upcoming "River Gypsies' Guide to the Pacific Northwest." We couldn't be more excited to have Kirk and Tom on board! We hope to announce plans for guidebooks in other areas in the near future.

It's been great seeing all of our friends around the country as we've traveled for half of our season, and we look forward to making lots more friends on the rivers as we finish up our summer tour!

          Always have fun!
