Beaches and Blizzards

After finishing up in Mexico, we decided to check out the Padre Island National Seashore for some relaxation, briefly turning our van into a beach house.

Very affordable for beachfront property.

We did some work while there, filming a segment for Andria's upcoming
Yoga for Shoulder Rehab DVD.

Not a bad place to do a video shoot.

After the beach, we hit New Orleans to visit friends and do some more eating, then headed to Hazlehurst, Mississippi to my dad's house to pick up Hudson. It rained hard all night, but we awoke the next morning to one of the strangest things we've ever seen in South Mississippi.

The Hazlehurst blizzard of '08.

The Copiah County Courthouse.

Just for reference, Copiah County is really far south!

Undeterred by the snowy roads, we decided to head back to that waterfall we checked out at the beginning of the trip, figuring that the rain from the night before might have it running.

You can check out the video of Andria's gnarly descent by clicking here.

Here's a parting shot of her hucking southern style:

Owens Creek Falls, Mississippi.
