The votes are in for the first round of photos, and we have a winner!

Zachary Frederick's photo of Jason Hilton on the North Fork of the Blackwater in WV won with 20% of the votes. The winner will receive the Brushy Mountain Publishing product of their choice, and will be entered in the drawing to win the Pyranha kayak of their choice. Congratulations to Zachary and Jason!

We'd also like to congratulate Steve Arns, whose 3 photos took second, third, and fourth place with a combined total of 40% of the votes. Steve will also win the BMP product of his choice and be entered in the drawing for the kayak.

Remember that if your photo wasn't in the vote or didn't win, it doesn't mean your shots will not be chosen to go in the book - thereby entering you in the drawing for the kayak.

We're still accepting submissions of photos for the next vote-off and for the book. You can read the details of how to enter by CLICKING HERE. Don't be bashful about submitting your photos if the light or color isn't right - as long as they are a nice frame and aren't blurry, I can usually work with them in Photoshop.
