In December of 2007, we ran our first creeking clinics outside of the US. We headed to San Luis Potosi state in Mexico for warm waterfalls and good times at the new Huasteca Secreta resorts. Check out part two of the report - Cascada de Tamul and running waterfalls on El Salto.

As we round the corner into July, we're really getting a handle on the runs out here. In this report we got on some true classics - the Little White Salmon, the Middle White Salmon, the Upper Cispus, and the Top Tye.

We've been in Washington almost a month now, and have been running some really sweet rivers up here. We've finally gotten some photos and reports together - here's the first one: Wind River park'n'huck, Little Wenatchee, Icicle Creek, and the Cooper.

Claudia Schwab has just released a really nice new guidebook to Southwest BC paddling. It has tons of great info on 79 runs from beginner to BC class IV+ as well as great lists of other things to do in the area, harder creeks to check out, multi day trips and a lot more. After years of hearing about the legendary gaps and Chamberlain Falls on the North Fork American, we got out there and checked them out.

The next step of our voyage took us to the North Yuba drainage to check out some of the classics in this beautiful boater friendly area.

The final year of Rivergypsies research has begun - we've hit California to catch some early snowmelt in a record-low snow year. Even in a low year, California has a HUGE amount of classic whitewater.
